Message Volume: Size and Quantity

In Lyris List terms, message volume is a factor of both the actual number of messages you send, and the average size (in kb) of those messages over a one-month period.

Package prices include a specified number of messages and assume a monthly average message size of 10kb. Please note: if your total message volume exceeds this amount during a particular month — either due to message quantity or size, or both — your total bill for that month will be higher than the package amount.

If your monthly message volume exceeds the amount included in your package, you will be charged for the extra mail at the effective "cost per thousand" (CPM) of your package. The rates for 10kb messages are as follows:

†	Cost per thousand messages over the designated volume of 10kb messages per month.

Rates for messages averaging more than 10kb follow a sliding scale based on the effective CPM rates in calculated increments.

For example, messages with an average monthly size of 20kb sent with a Standard Features set package are charged at $3 per thousand; if the monthly size were 50kb, the charge would be $5 per thousand.

Administrative messages (such as subscribes, unsubscribes, and welcome messages) are included for free. Digests and indexes count as a single message.

Custom Domains

The email lists we host typically use a Lyris List domain, such as @Lyris List.com. The "custom domain" feature allows you to select your prefered domain name, for example: @lists.yourcompany.com.

Custom domains are included with email list hosting packages. For ALL packages, extra custom domains are available for $50 per month each. There is a $50 set-up fee for this option, which we'll waive if you purchase the custom domain when you first open your account.

 

Forms of Payment

Connectweb accepts all major credit cards, wire transfers, checks, and money orders. For packages with monthly fees of $500 or less, we require credit card payment. For packages above $500 per month, we accept purchase orders (North American companies only) and credit cards.

Invoices

For all payment types, we email you an invoice each month that details your usage and costs for that period, including any monthly minimum fees that apply. Please note that we do not send invoices by postal mail.

If your account is by credit card, we charge your card automatically each month. Payment for purchase order accounts is due within 30 days of the invoice date. Please also note that set-up fees are non-refundable.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for your minimum monthly fees each month. By purchasing a Lyris List email list hosting package, you agree to pay the minimum monthly fee even if you have no mailing activity during a particular month.

Contracts

We require 3-month minimum contracts for all packages. This policy enables us to work closely with you to set up your email list, thereby enhancing your experience and the success of your list.
